4 Ideas for Developing an Interim Roadmap

 

An interim roadmap illustrates the journey a congregation is taking in order to call new pastoral leadership.  

  1. Spell out the seasons the congregation will go through from the former pastor leaving to new pastor being called. Name the seasons. Spell out the steps involved in moving from one season to another.

  2. Mark current location on the roadmap. Update frequently. Post updates on the church website and social sites.

  3. Celebrate the completion of major milestones. Thank everyone who helped in achieving the goal.

  4. Add scripture and prayer points relevant to your context.
